~Mashiroiro Symphony~ Episodes 5-8

PANNYAAAAAAAAAAAA~

Finally got around to watching episodes 5-8 of Mashiroiro Symphony today. First off, my Yuri goggles got broken by the powers of Uryuu the male protagonist >_< . Somehow he has managed to worm his way into the heart of the tsundere boy hater Sana and become a good friend to Miu as well. Of course our previous focus Sena has been totally shoved to the side and was only given minimal screen time after episode 5. 

~Season in Review~ Summer and Fall

It's that time of anime season again, everything that is good must come to an end. After the jump you will find my short thoughts on many of the shows I have been watching for the past 3-6 months like Mawaru Penguindrum, Fate/Zero, C Cubed, Boku ha Tomodachi Ga Sukunai, The iDOLM@STER, Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon, Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai, UN-GO, and Ben-To.

There are a few other shows I am stalled on watching right now.. Tamayura ~hitotose~, Mashiroiro Symphony, and Working'!! either because I have not watched them yet, or the fansub groups I follow for those shows have not finished subbing yet.

~Sasameki Koto~ Episodes 1-4

Once again I am defeated by not correcting the aspect ratio.

Sasameki Koto a show about unrequited love, yuri, and touch of comedy? This is pretty much the perfect show for me to watch ^__^ .  With the comedy thrown in to balance out the amount of emotional crap Sumika has to deal with about her so far one sided love interest in Kazama.  Oh I do pray for a happy ending.. somehow I just don't think it will happen. None-the-less this show is pretty fantastic so far.

~Beat of the Week~ PiPiPiPARU - EastNewSound

Electric loli should be a music genre.  A fun little song from the Touhou music circle EastNewSound.  After reading the lyrics.. kinda feels like a tsundere song.. and its adorable.  This song is off their Comiket 79 album Split Theory, arrangement by crouka, vocals by Tsubaki, lyrics by くまりす.Enjoy please!

~Beat of the Week~ The Homework Never Ends!

Well it's the second Beat of the Week.  Why? because this is what I am doing right now. Homework.  Deadlines. Uwah~  At least the Touhou girls are having fun. Enjoy!

~Beat of the Week~ CYTOKINE - a.shi.ta (vocal Aki)

A wonderfully sweet song from Linjin of CYTOKINE with vocals performed by Aki.  I just can not get enough of Cytokine's music, they are pretty much my favorite Touhou music group.. although Foreground Eclipse is a very very close second.  I was even nice enough to search out the English translation of this song for you as well.  Anyways, enjoy the song!

~Rozen Maiden~ Swear to me on this Rose Ring.

Hikikomori, dolls, battling, and finding oneself. What is this you ask? This is the premise behind Rozen Maiden. Sakurada Jun has dropped out of middle school and spends his time buying dolls on the internet and then returning them before he has to pay for them when one day he inadvertently orders a strange doll by placing a response in his desk drawer.  Enter Shinku the adorable Fifth Doll of Rozen Maiden.

Possible spoilers after the jump as this is a review.  I don't have many screen shots for this show since I watched the majority of it on my Archos 43 media device thingy and the aspect ratio got screwy when I tried to take them on my computer..forgive me desu~

~Beat of the Week~ Dai Hinmin by Supercell

I love this song despite having no idea what the lyrics are about.  The emotion in the singers voice is just spectacular.  You can find this song on the single for the opening song of Guilty Crown, which I might add, Ryo from Supercell does the music for that anime.
 

~Mashiroiro Symphony~ Cuteness and Romance

 

Mashiroiro Symphony -The Color of Lovers- It's an anime based off a romance and drama Visual Novel/Eroge doused in sugar and sweetness with a mix of all the wonderful character tropes and a 100% sweet perfect male lead.  Sounds pretty generic right? But it is that sweetness that has drawn me into the silly little storyline, well, not that there is much of a story line as it's mostly slice of life random adventures revolving around the characters two schools merging together.  A co-ed and an all girls school merging in an anime, of course lulz will ensue with the male students being thrust into an all girls school.  Anyways, keeping with tradition and my lack of a want to do more than show pretty screenshots.  I have just picked five shots from the ending animation to show you after the jump.

~Beat of the Week~ Exit Trance Speed Anime 14 - SPELL

As I was driving home today listening to this album, this particular song came on and brought tears to my eyes. It took about half the song for me to remember which anime opening it was remixed from, No. 6. A very well done story of the toppling of an Utopian Society. It was a show that I initially did not like, but as I watched more of it, the characters latched onto my heart and I ended up marathoning the remaining episodes in two sittings. This song is a remix of the opening song by LAMA entitled Spell.

~Character Focus!~ Mahiru Inami from Working!!

I present you with the adorable Androphobiac Mahiru Inami from the 2010 anime Working!!

I feel like she is trying to punch the viewer. She's so adorable!

This adorable girl reacts to a mans presence with overwhelming violence and the lulz ensue!  She has easily become my favorite character as I watch Working!! mind you I am currently only 6 episodes in so as far as I have noticed is that her androphobia has only decreased slightly, and only when she is dealing with Takanashi/Katanashi-kun.  Unrelated, but I also prefer his name to be Katanashi just as Popura mispronounces it.

~Fate/Zero~ Iskandar! King of Conquerors!

Winner.

In all honesty, I was going to do a review of Yumekui Merry.  But I just can not pass up the simply awesome faces, lines and gestures that Iskandar aka Rider in Fate/Zero does.  If you have not seen or even know a single thing about the Fate universe, do not fear! I know absolutely nothing and this show is awesome!  More lulz after the jump.

So far three episodes have aired this fall season of anime and I have been watching this show along with about a dozen others all at once.  Yes, I might have an addiction or something, but its not really my fault that almost ALL the shows I previewed were actually good this season.
